Hi I was just wondering if anyone knew if there is a guide on how to put a starter on my toyota pickup? Its a 93 22re manual

haynes manual is good for that sort of thing.might try the fsm (factory service manual )in the 2nd or third post on this page.disconnect batery cables,remove wires from starter,remove two bolts from starter.install rebuilt starter in reverse order.much better to rebuild your starter if its original equipment rather than buy the autozone pepboys advance type piece of junk with the life time warranty. why dont youy search starter solenoid contacts or some thing like that in the search area of this site. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" /> good luck dude

no ,in place of the crank on the front ,it fell out on the trail one day.I dont have a starter to install,it fell off too.dont understand it I torked it to 2.9 lbs just like the fsm said.sometimes I just park on a hill. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

Good time to do an oil change; gets the filter out of the way for that inner nut. Make sure you've had the replacement starter checked out before you put it in there.
