i sheared off my hub studs and i have 2 ifs parts trucks in the yard. can you replace the spindle with an ifs spindle or are they different? i know i saw this somewhere im just hoping for a quick answer raher than going out in the squelching heat and looking for myself. that and im lazy <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

actually i was talking about the hub, not the lockout but the actual hub. got a good look at an ifs setup today but it looks a but different. i think to use the ifs hub with the fj rotors on a solid axle you need the widening kit from sky.

And different axle splines in the hub... no match.

well the spindles dont swap, the hubs will in fact swap also giving you a wider axle. the hub gears inside the ifs hub lock outs will not interchange. the hub dials do in fact interchange. the safest way to do it is to use the sky mfg widening kit, this thread shows the cheapest. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=218389&page=1&pp=25
