Thanks for the compliments, I spent a bit of time trying to figure this thing out.

The one aspect of the install that I am not too happy about is the hanger on the back of the muffler. I agree that the rubber hangers are the weak point, especially since they are the stock rubber hangers that shipped from the factory..... note to self, purchase new rubber hangers.

The stock hanger uses two pieces of round stock that are welded to the exhaust tubing and bent upwards to engage the lower holes in the stock rubber hangers. I have bent up a couple of pieces of 1/4" round bar to work with this application, just need to weld them to the Flowmaster exit tube. That was one objective of the install, to get the exit of the Flowmaster right below the hanger location so that I could attach directly to the muffler, not to the flex stainless.

As for the stock style rubber hangers, the Flowmaster does not weight that much more than the stock muffler, I weighed them, only about 5 lbs difference. I am contemplating how to install 2x of the stock hangers per side on the stock hanger points, which will cut the load on each by 1/2.
