Its an 86 5spd has aisin hubs and it has a prblem with flooding itself and running rough.if u disconnect the fuel line from the carb u can get it to start and if u squirt gas into it it will stay running but when u hook the gas back in it floods out. The carb is easy to replace IF you mark all the vac lines and take some digital shots. Your other option if you don't have emission testing is the Weber Carb. [Re: LRJ4x4] #832796 08/28/07 05:52 PM Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 5,231 Crawlorado CapnCrunch Trail Leader Just make sure that if you R&R the carb (regardless of what you replace it with) that you ensure the mating surfaces of the carb and the intake manifold are pristinely cleaned of all the old gasket material and smooth. I only have a haynes manual so i dunno if thats the shop manual or what.
