They're not a cure-all for heat issues, but CapnC's louvers are one of my favorite mods. You can really feel the heat flowing out when the engine is running. And they look great! These are the larger size.

I didn't want water to flow on the alternator, so I put in the diverter you see on the underside of the hood above the alternator.

They definitely add to the look of the rig.

I used stainless steel hardware instead of the rivets that come with the louvers because I wanted to be able to remove them in preparation for the paint job I plan to do in the future. Fixed the hardware with blue threadlock. When using hardware, just tighten the nuts finger tight and fix them with threadlock so you don't distort the hood sheetmetal.
