Body Damage is Cool
So the big 40 is coming up, my wife asked me what I wanted for my b-day and I told her $$ for the 4runner, as I have not wheeled or even driven it since I flipped it in March. Not street legal anyhow...

So I know I have some funds coming, and the question is what to do with them. My two things are an internal cage, 'cause it's not safe really if it flipped again, which I am determined to avoid, or transfer case mods. What would you do?

Jeff

Roll Me Over
Get an x-cab cab and swap it on w/ a small flat bed behind... Then throw a cage in it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

How about you trade me your runner for mine and then YOU can do that. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />

I'll only have $600 or so.

No body swap.

I am prolly gonna sell the can back, which would give me enough to do both.

Plenty of $$ to do that. Hell, I had a perfect 89 cab a few years ago that I couldn't give away. Ended up scrapping it. Do some searches on car-parts, craigslist, etc. 10:1 says you can find a cab for <$250. You could build yerself a very nice driver/wheeler for that $$.

I see your point, but I really don't know if I want to put that much work into it. Plus, I need to be able to carry the fambly. Truck cab = no fambly.
