Yep, they can be tricky to get lined up with the motor mounts. I had to winch mine forward with a come-a-long and use a long screwdriver to lever the mounts over to get a bolt started. I found that was mainly due to the stock t-case crossmember being located too far back, maybe it was bent. But when I put in the Front Range crossmember with the engine in the proper location, the motor mount bolts just drop into the holes now.
