Take a look at my website for some pictures of my truck.
It's an 86 xtracab longbed (2wd) that was SASed.
Nice thing about the 2wd frame is that you can lift it less and still be able to do crossover steering.
I believe it's about the same amount of work for the SAS part. The people that did mine reinforced the front arch to be safe.
We did also use an IFS power steering box for the SAS.
I run 33's on mine, frame to ground is right about 21".
