carcass? Would you have a frame I could take off your hands? the Truck is in IL. currently while I'm in nashville I've been attending NADC for about 2 weeks now! if you know where to get a frame or if you have one I would like to work something out!! I don't have much $$ but I do have a 22R if you're interested.

Hey Yotabob, did a car-part search for your frame. I searched 4x4, Reg cab, 4Cyl. (don't know what motor you've got). Here's a few of the hits.... Good luck!

Wouldn't hurt to call one of them and ask for a price for freight.
Usually, diffs ship for $25 via UPS.
I had a 22RE from Texas delivered to Zuks in Az, ran me $125 freight.

I'd assume that if you could get a frame, delivered, grand total of $500 or less.... go for it. That truck seems quite worth it to me. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Yes, they should be the same.
Fas as I remember, the only difference in mounts are the rear most for the bed, about 1/2" off or so.

well I was talking to a teacher at NADC that does welding and he said he's never done anything like it before but he says its possible and told me another teacher to talk to that has a deal of welding experience and may be able to help me but I'm Hoping it maybe possible to weld it back together using Arc welding and 1/4" plate. well thats My hope because the price of changing the frame the right way is a ways over my college budget because I'm buying a house for me and my wife and I still have gas, food and stuff like that but the money for metal and welding rod isn't bad as long as I can get the truck Driveable!!!!(safely of course)
