iv always flat towed my yj with a tow bar the other day i went to tow it it wouldnt turn with my truck the only thing i changed was i installed wheel spacers could that affect it or is it somthing else <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Ok so you DID HAVE the steering wheel unlocked...right? The spacers shouldn't change the towability of the jeep. I have seen too much caster cause the front wheels of the towed jeep to slide and not want to follow the tow vehicle. I like my vehicles to have a minimum of caster anyway so it has never been a problem for me. Also if you have a front locker I doubt it would turn at all when towed. ok first yes the wheel was un locked i do have a locker but i disengagsd it jacked it to cheak it each wheel turns indepently

how do i cheak caster it drives fine no wear on tires and why would caster change
