that makes sense. i've seen a lot of headers that don't work with automatic transmissions. thanks for the information though. at least now i know that clearance is the only issue and that the tranny would be strong enough. i am going to keep my eyes peeled for a reasonably priced ax-15. through some online research i learned that the XJ and YJ AX-15 are the same except for the clocking of the t case bolt holes. i did find one write up online where the person made a template and was able to redrill holes in the tranny. i think another possibly better option would be to use a clocking ring to overcome this obstacle? the reason for the xj ax-15 being the sheer number of them available
