Thanks for the info. The only problem I had with the job was getting the o2 sensor out. It wouldn't budge, so my stepdad and I cut it out with a bandsaw. I cleaned the threads out, and presto! $150 bucks saved! The good news is that I don't hear any exhaust leaks (the manifold had 2 360' cracks!), but now I hear the familiar squeaky belt again. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Also, I have been plagued with poor throttle response and rough idle for about 2 years. I never would get a CEL, but it would sometimes stall. I suspected the battery terminals, but they always 'looked' fine. Upon closer inspection, the cables were loosley connected to the terminals. I cleaned and tightened and now it runs better than it has in years. Woo-Hoo! I love simple solutions.
