I replaced the clutch on my 93 3.2 rodeo and now my cluth pedal is going to the floor and not disengaging the clutch. I am confused. I never unhooked any hoses from the slave cylinder, I just hung it out of the way. I tried bleeding yesterday and it didnt help. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Did you get the TO bearing locked back into the fingers of the pressure plate? It is a pull-type clutch and if the TO is not attached to the pressure plate it won't disengage the clutch or return the pedal to where it is supposed to be.

are you certain that you did not install the clutch disk upside down? Sadly I have done that and had the same results...different vehicle. Ryan

Yes I did snap the bearing in after I reinstalled transmission. I did bleed the system some more yesterday and was able to get the pedal stiff enough to disengage the clutch but, it is still very soft and Im having trouble shifting gears. I am going to try to bleed some more tonight and see what happens. Would changing the slave cylinder be a good thing to do? Thanks for the help.

CAREFULLY pry up the dust boot on the slave cylinder. If there is fluid inside the boot, that means that it is leaking past the piston. If not, there is no real reason to change the slave.
