hi bigjim, if the drive shaft was out of balance, wouldn't I notice a vibration? Motor mounts were changed.I was also thinking about loctite but I figured the bolts falling out were better than the stress cracking the mounting part on the tranny. It looks kind of cheesey. I got the bolt size from the factory maintenance book, but they wiggle slightly until they go further up in their bore. Even if they're wrong, the originals took off on me. Actually, the trans bolts that mount to the underpan(crossmember) are at the back most position of the slots(alomost bindingat an angle until tightened). Could everything have shifted backwards?I guess tomorrow I'll take it apart again and try loctite.
