There are no synchros between hi/lo, so that explains some of it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
There is a synchro to shift from 2wd to 4wd though, to get the front drive shaft spinning before the ADD engages.

Seems like its the guys w/ auto trannys that have the problem. I wonder if the shift linkage for the tranny could use some adjustment? Or maybe you're just not waiting long enough for the spinning parts to slow down and stop?
