Getting the Wheeling Fever
Anyone have an idea of the expected voltage for the igniter <built into the distributor> on a 2.6L? The FSM only says "see if it sparks". I'm trying to plan an upgrade to megasquirt with locked dizzy, and it would be nice to know what the "spec" voltage output should be.

It's AC voltage, not DC.

The igniter sees the change from - > + or + > - and triggers on the pass thru zero. I'm sorry I don't know the peak voltage, and it probably changes with rpm, too, but I'd guess it's small given the generation method...
