Oh come now, it can't be worse than mounting a set of Micro DEs. The holes are not tapped and the fasteners provided twist off on first install. I have 15 pairs to install next week, once I have the kits finished. As long as I throw away the crap hardware supplied with them and tap the holes they are not so bad.

The early alternators (External fan and regulator)use brass shims under the rear ear.
