My 22re with fresh timing chain has an occasional miss at idle when it's out of gear. Under load, no perceptible miss and no problems. i.e. put in 1st and idle along at a walking pace, it seems fine. I've owned the truck for 10 years and I think the miss has been present ever since I can remember. A google search turns up all kinds of cries for help. I am wondering... has anyone whose 22re has a slight miss at idle ever cured it? If so, what was the fix? I'm probably not going to bother messing with mine, but I am curious to know if anyone has been able to solve the mystery of the missing 22re?
