I think it was Landraider who recently posted about losing the waterpump whil on trail. Headed out in another's rig to the local store, got a new pump for something cheap, and had in installed on the trail in no time.

Try doing that with a Mistu 3.0...



I can do it on the trail. My 10,000 mile old timing belt tensioner broke 50 miles from home. I walked a little under a mile to a parts store, they did not have one. My mom lived 15min away and she took me to another parts store, they had one in stock. I put it on in a field. I carry tools.

But yeah, it would be a pain in the <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> on a trail.
