2.6 turbo from a starion/conquest for many reasons; its easy to swap in, easy to work on, keep all the room in your engine bay, plenty of power , reliable, and cheap mostly intock parts.

EAISER to swap in.
Hard as hell to work on. (change a 2.6 turbo starter, or drill out broken exhaust manifold studs ALL the way in the back.)
Takes up MORE room in the engine bay. Tons of mystery boxes, Tons of wiring.
Reliable?? I guess thats how much you make it. How many heads, and mikunis are we talking?

I've done both, and If I ever do another turbo swap, it will not be with a 2.6. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />
