Hard as hell to work on. (change a 2.6 turbo starter, or drill out broken exhaust manifold studs ALL the way in the back.)
Takes up MORE room in the engine bay. Tons of mystery boxes, Tons of wiring.

you're right the starter is a ***** to change. If you don't wan't to be drilling out bolts and changing heads, just dont overheat your truck and you'll never have a problem. You won't have a problem with your mikuni because it's FI.
