well come to find out it was the top silent shaft sprocket that came off. my dad said that it appeared to have been off for a long time and that it was what was making the sound cuz its happened to him before on his old diesel D50. as for the leak of oil i found this "crack" i was underneath when my dad started the truck and oil poured out of this opening; is this factory opening? im very confused.
