I'm good for a set of gears (front and rear) if you come across them. Handsome reimbursement would definitely ensue <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for having the forethought to look out for Raider/Montero Brethren (and Sisterthren(sp?)) back home <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

On the gen 1, yes you need to add a wire from the front turns to the back. This can be figured out.
On the gen 2 tails it will add another set of backup lights and the truck is already wired for this.

I would be curious if there are any rear heater assemblies over there?

Wow! I guess there is some real interest. It looks like I have a lot of work to do. Shipping whole engines may not be possible or realistic but I'll see what it'll cost. I'll start a list and see what I can get into! I'll also see if there are any aftermarket catalogs that are in English. You'll have to bear with me though, being in the military is a major time consuming thing. But I'll do my best to get to everyone!

Alright, just a small update. The Army has kept me on my toes lately but I made it to a couple salvage yards. I've given them my number to give me a call when they get some more trucks in, the pajero's they have right now are pretty stripped bare but I made a few friends in the process. They've said that even in Okinawa, the jerry can holders are pretty hard to come by but it's not unheard of. I've got a buddy here that's going to do some wrenching with me so I'll try and pull some gears if I don't get sent to Thailand soon. Badges will be easy and I'll be on the look out for Pajero mud flaps that aren't all messed up!
