What Nathan is saying is that our community is a bunch of huge pansys where very few are willing to try difficult modifications.

So I'm going to try doing this swap this weekend and see what happens. The monty's been broken for a long time anyways so whats the diff. I've never any problems with the truck until I broke the cv shaft and some steering parts. None of which are easily replaceable. So instead I'm saving for a bigger welder. So I figure if this swap will work for me I'll only have to make drive shafts once.

Its do all this or rebuild my Sammy. And thats a whole new mess. I broke it really good.

Completely. Daniel's the toughest thing I've SEEN. I mean, I can roll my truck onto its side if I was so inclined, as you did in that one pic.

I think he is. Maybe you should post some detailed pics of your front end working to prove him wrong. Just kidding.

I don't mean to hurt your feelings here, but I'm with Stoney on this one. I have scarier looking pics of my chicken on trails than what I've seen from you.

I'm not saying youhaven't done anything, just that you haven't posted impressive pictures.

The AZ crew kinda kicks your butt when it comes to that kind of thing too.

I guess I'm a huge pansy for not having pictures of the toughest trails I have ever ridden then.

More to the point of my statement is that I have PLENTY of Photographic evidence to demonstrate that there are TONS of modifications that are possible for this community, VERY FEW will take part in them. Why this is?? I don't know.

Maybe it is statements like

this. Basically you are in denial.
"My stock Gen1 with, 29 inch tires, and no lockers can perform as well as a SAS'd, fully locked vehicle with 35 inch tires "

If you REALLLLY think this is the case then you should most defiantly come ride. I am not trying to beat my chest by any means, and you will find that I am very modest, but in a case like this, i'm not so inclined.

Just go look at the pictures from last years Uwharrie trip. There are very few pics from Daniel, but even some of the more "tame" looking pictures. You might be able to ride the same trails, but you are gonna be sweating balls, and trying your best to find a bypass for almost every obstical. I'm confused if you are just jabbing at me, or are serious.

Pics or not, people seem to be forgetting one key point, LandRaider's ride is built up not because he simply wnated to see if he could do the given mod, it is built up because whatever he had before the mod either broke or otherwise failed him on the trails.

So either he is like me and pretty green at 4x4, hence breaks stuff. Or he wheels alot and hard, and hence breaks stuff. (I know what I think...)

So if a picture is worth a thousand words, what's the narrative of a rode-hard-broken-and-built-up-better worth?

We all know there are a million ways to wheel. One can have an pucker-up line that isn't necessarily hard on the machinery. Just like there are gnarly lines that require tough gear, but may not necessarily have a high fear-factor.
