that would be a total waste of energy, time and money. Not to mention you would be downgrading your rear end. The mitsu 9 inch is stronger than a dana 44 and if you're not happy with that you can get a full floater kit for it, or swap in the mitsu 9.5 inch its way stronger than a dana 44, bolts on, comes with a locker "in most cases" and costs less than swapping in a dana 44. What axle do you have right now, the 9 or 9.5?


I have the 9.5. My reason for going 44s is because the amount of after market support that there is for them. D60 would be nice but that is just way more than I would ever need.
