While it's out, take a vice or C-clamp and press the studs out of the stub shafts sticking out of the differential, and replace them with some bolts and nuts. I know you don't like to think about this... but next time you have to do thsi job (sigh) it'll be a lot easier to get those CVs out.


I agree, just replace the entire unit. That's the route I went.
