Take a look inside my distributor. As you might guess, there's no spark. Can anyone offer an explanation for this and suggest a remedy, thanks. [img] http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=6724456[/img]

I wonder if it was just too much dirt and debris buildup in there? You definately need to replace the outer o-ring to keep it clean in there.

I wonder if it was just too much dirt and debris buildup in there? You definately need to replace the outer o-ring to keep it clean in there. I don't thinks dirt is the problem. Look at closely at the photo. The shaft has dropped and the brown piece in the center is ripping into the pickup coils. The only dirt is parts of the pickup coils that have been ground off.
