Translation: "I have Dana 30 and Dana 35 axles. How can I upgrade them without having to do too much work. Are there any bolt-on axles from any other vehicles which will fit my Jeep without breaking the bank?"
Phil, there's nothing in your post or your profile that tells us what Year/Model Jeep you have. What is it?

Ditch the Dana 35, and swap in a 44 from a wagoneer, or whatever you can find at a junk yard. The 30 up front will be fine, just upgrade the axle shafts, and diff gears.

or whatever you can find at a junk yard That AMC 20 is a good axle to swap in, so is a rear Dana 30 from a Scout 800 series? NOT. Did we ever determine what we are working on? Year/Model/what axles are really in there? Heck he might have a D44 in there now. This thread is common of the web and forum boards. Someone says"lasd8 asdha aidyet, zzggroon?" and you answer "Well sure a dana 44 from a Wag or what ever else is lying around will work." I like the "or what ever you can find" advice. By the way a d44 from a wag does not fit under a "jdfg8o9h" Only a D44 from a 68 commando does. SD

The "whatever you can find" refers to not just a Wagoneer, but anything that has a 44 under it, not "whatever axle he can find".
And you can make any axle fit under any vehicle, but it usually takes some modification.
His last post he said he has a 93 wrangler with a 4.0L.

im interested on the 44dana, now my skills are pretty good, now i need to know what kind of modifications on that dana 44 that i need to cut the tubing, if it is so, im trying to avoid that. now if this dana can bolt in on the same spot of my dana 35, for a 93 wrangler with 4.0L after market. also i need to know what kind of trani auto for the same jeep. my is 5sp busted. the cost is to rebuild is 1,900 dollars any where in florida, i was thinking to go to the junk and get this items. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

As SD said, look for a 68 commando. Or a wrecked rubicon...there you will have some work to do with changing from coils to leafs, and I think shock mount relocation, but you shouldn't have to change the tubes on it.
