Getting the Wheeling Fever
Well i had my 2000 honda passport with the 3 inch body and 3 inch calmini lift on it for about a year. I have not really offroad in it besides taking it to go out shooting or play in the mud. The body lift sucks the bolt has so much play in the puck. So it seems to shift a little. The bolts always losen on me even with alot of loctite. I was thinking about welding the nut on the bolt. I would like to drop the body lift but i have 32''x 11.50 bfg mudders on it. What do you guys think i should do. Im just a 18 year old student trying to make my truck a better dd but still be able to go have fun with it.

I wouldn't weld the nut on the bolt... the heat will change the strength characteristics of the bolt, not a good idea.

have you tried alternative nuts? like nylon or stover nuts? I would think that would take care of your problem if they're really not staying on with just loctite.

Roll Me Over
I used 1/2" hardware with my body lift. I only had to drill out the two captured mounts that are right in front of the rear seat. All of the other holes were big enough.

Body Damage is Cool
My nuts were loosening as well. I ended up using threadlocker and two nuts. on the bolt. one as a jam nut.

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.

if you remove your body lift your 32x11.50 will still fit too

I already bent both fenders from my tires. I think because i have mud terrian there a lil bigger then all terrian tires.

This might be true if the tires are mounted on stock offset wheels -- however, if they are on wider-than-stock offset wheels, I suspect they will probably rub without a body lift.

Which makes me ask:
--What offset are you running?
--Did this happen before or after the body lift went on?

If your answers are 'Zero' -and- 'After'... then, if you remove the body lift, you can pretty much count on doing some more trimming/hammering/bending to prevent those 32x11.5s from rubbing.

yeah minor rubbing - but a small trim of the inside of the wheel well will cure that, you can run 33x12.50 with aftermarket offset wheels on a second gen. with some minor trimming

I would have to find out about the offset, i bought the rims and tires off of a buddy. He was starting a SAS on a pathfinder so he made me a deal i could not refuse.I guess i bent them mudding just having the tires come up into the wheel wells. I also have noticed my driver door does not line up right.
