well good info all! I expect that my new Pajero will have comparable pick to my 1987 Nissan "Dentra" haha. It is a right hand drive, LWB and it is a manual. My concerns were simply if it would pull a couple of quads and camp gear and since thats probably under 3000lbs I figure i should be good. The other concern was being offroad capable which is partly why I insisted on the manual, that and I hate autos. Well it's still in Japan waiting to be shipped and I can't wait to get it. I guess time will tell but according to the agent there is very little surface rust on the under carriage and just a few dents. All power options work well and no leaks yet. I hope not with only 65000kms on it but I will keep an eye on it. Ya Platinum mitsubishi is where I checked for parts before I bought and they said it was no problem to get parts...So since I am a newbie when it comes to diesels, what is my best option for the cold Alberta winters as far as keeping the motor warm...I was thinking about an ignition bypass so I could pull the key out when running the motor before work. aside from that, block heater or oil pan heater and where to get it?
