That's a very nice looking, low-KM unit! Congrats.

Sorry for the negative posts, it's just info I thought needed to be out there. Your truck looks great, and the auction sheet shows that it really is clean, especially the exterior. Nice find!

I am now officially a Pajero owner. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

yah it definetly a nice unit...if you find out that it has 5.29 diffs, get 33" tires on it RIGHT AWAY!!! you will need them if you want to get anywhere on the highway. at 100km/h I am revving at 3200RPM roughly.

I think you can't go wrong with a blue pajero, I wouldn't want any other color....there are quite a few pajeros roaming around Red Deer (most of them are beige/green exceeds)

by the sounds of it yours is pretty mint. Mine is just as mint...there isn't a spec of rust/dent/scratch anywhere on it. here are a few pics of mine with the 33"s. the alloy wheels are 32"

mine has 2" lift consisting of rear coils (don't know what brand) and Sway-a-way Torsion bars.

Well thanks all for the positive and negative info on my import. This is all very new to me since i really never considered a right hand drive; I thought it was an expensive luxury. I paid 7600 and change to my door apparently. I believe that it is RORO but I am not entirely sure. I am happy to see the pics that everyone has posted You all have very nice Pajeros and I am jealous I don't have mine yet haha. Actually the Rims that are the blue pajero are the exact ones I had already picked. They look great! Now that I know what they look like Im going to order up a set with some Dayton Timberline MTs in 33" form (as soon as the truck arrives of course) I have sent an e-mail to Nick at terra 2 for an update. Crossing my fingers for a speedy delivery too. Anyone know about boosting the PSI in the turbo and/or a front mount intercooler to increase the power? Good idea or bad one???

Here's my truck, 33s, no lift, and being weighed down in the back by our trailer. Stock rims on my XRII model (basically a 2 door Exceed) have slightly more offset than the XP, but that shouldn't be an issue if you are staying with the stock tire width...

I was going to do a front mount intercooler....but there is ducting in the hood to scoop air to the intercooler...and there is also a little 6" fan on the bottom of the intercooler. I decided thats probably the best most efficient spot for it, I am going to hard-pipe it all though, along with the intake. I just have to get off my lazy ass and do it

I have a heater hose with a slight leak so I have to fix that first.

The hard piping sounds like a good idea. I still might consider the front mount intercooler. Ill know more when the truck comes.

On a different note, I spoke to Gerry at terra 2 and he assured me that the vehicle is on schedule and has cleared deregistration. Further to this, he "guaranteed" the vehicle would be in the shape that was told to me and even offered a money back guarantee in the case of a change in my situation or of the vehicle doesn't arrive.

At least if its all smoke and mirrors they have made me feel a bit better about it. Time will tell I guess.
