if i needed to replace my shocks, what would I use? I have a 1992 mitsu pajero 2.5 TD. Are the adjustable shocks not available?

they are available through the mitsubishi dealer only for $$$$$$$$$$. you can get regular non-adjustable shocks for replacement, I have KYB MONOMAX's and I love them. there are quite a few different options for shocks for our truck...KYB, Tokico, Billstein, etc...KYB seems to be the shock of choice with our trucks. and I can see why, they are awesome.

KYB is also what Mitsu uses - the OE adjustables and non-adjustables are KYB.

yea, my old ram 50 4x4 had original KYB shocks on the rear with 318,000km on it...still worked!!!

I priced out OE shocks a year ago...can't remember the price but it was stupid expensive...not even worth it! look for a set of used ones from a USDM montero, somebody might have a good used set somwhere.

I have ProComp's ES9000 on mine, and they're great and were really cheap. I've put 40k kilometers on them and they are still in very good shape (the roads down here are really bad, it's like offroading all the time <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />).

My truck is a Gen I tough.

I might be upgrading to Billsteins (just because I love them) but I want to find out exactly how good they are on our trucks. I heard they don't perform aswell on some vehicles.
