It also depends on what engine you have. If you have a 3.4 Topyota engine or a domestic V-6 than the auto tranny isn't bad. I have a couple of buddies who have gone from manual to auto's and love the auto tranny. I personally prefer the manual, yes you at times need 3 feet when off road, and yes the manuals are prone to stalling out when crawling, but you don't have the cooling issues with the manuals as you do with auto's.
