X3 on the personal opinion.
I have an auto and I love it, no 3 legged dance and I can do any speed from real fast to real slow.

2 downsides.
1 - if an A/T malfunctions on you on the trail, chances are you are really screwed. M/Ts dypically don't break it catastrophic ways, at least you can drive it.
2 - if you have a starter problem (I'm only sensitive to thsi b/c of recent issues myself) there is no way to get an A/T vehicle going (no push start, rope trick, etc).
Quick summary - for reliability - M/T.
For convenience - A/T.
