Sorry Pajerist but I agree with Redbull and others. I'm a diesel-only guy going back to my late teens, so I definately want to come to the aid of any other diesel guy, but....

When I was 19 or 20 I delivered bread. When I was loading up the truck at 3:00 AM and the guy next to me had his truck idling at the dock, it made me sick. I had to ask him to load it cold then pull away from the dock to warm 'er up.

I pick up my stock for my wine shop in my Chev diesel and I back into the warehouse so they can forklift the pallet in. I always pull onto their lot and let 'er cool down there before backing into the building, then I shut it down as soon as I pull in. I also leave the front wheels outside (slight downhill) so I can roll out before firing it back up.

I know a warehouse if differently equipped than a parking garage, but the basic consideration of others is the same.
