You need to buy some wire to make the distance from the gauge to the sender on the engine. You need to take a pic of the gauge back (wires), sender (wires) and the instructions wiring diagram.

I'd say the gauge white to sender white, gauge black to sender black, gauge power to ign. on power, gauge lights to instrument lights, and a gauge ground to body steel. Don't wire it until I see the pics...
