Interesting. We *do* have FSMs sticky'd over in the Taco section that would cover your 3.4 for that part.
Sure you can haggle with someone man, ya live here! You just need to learn how. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Ok, back from dealer. They said prices are "matris" (Whatever that means) They can charge whatever they want if it's under $200.00.
I forgot my discount coupon so I had to go back home to get it. I then spoke to a female service tech and she told me (wink) to speak with the service manager tomorrow and tell him I'm very unhappy about them not calling me to pick up my runner in the morning (I had to call them in the afternoon and missed an opportunity to get my vehicle smog tested and registered today. I finally drove off at 6:45pm) and talk about the MSRP pricing. She said that he would probably help me out (wink)
main parts:
We have the water pump MSRP at $125.24 and their selling price to me at $90.17 but McCord's price to me at $143.05
Timing belt MSRP at $49.36 - selling at $35.54 - McCord's: $59.34
Brake pads MSRP at $60.95 - selling at $43.88 - McCord's: $76.92
Shim kit/squeal MSRP at $40.20 - selling at $28.94 - McCord's: - $50.76
Air flow sensor MSRP at $206.86 - $148.94 McCord's: - $230.07
Parts: $600.59
Labor: $678.00
Misc: $21.84
+Tax total: $1407.06
Funny how they advertise their new cars, "below MSRP" when they jack up their prices for parts well above MSRP. I sent the service manager a friendly letter so we'll see how they handle this..........
Thank you very much kewlynx for the link. I wouldn't have a leg to stand on if I didn't have the info.
