my 97 rodeo 3.2 had a blown fuse for panel/tail lights. went thru everything and found the two front orange corner marker light bulbs were dead. for some reason this kept blowing the fuse when i turned them on. replaced the bulbs and was all good for a week. now the fuse has blown again. haven't had time to check the bulbs again but obviously something is causing this. any thoughts? found nothing on this in search mode. electricity is voodo black magic as far as i'm concerned. (and don't anyone tell me it's just like water flowing through pipes! ) TIA

A common cause of this problem is a short somewhere in your trailer wiring harness.

Trailer harness makes sense, I blew that same fuse repeatedly on a trip while towing an old camper in the rain...one (more than one, actually ) of the lights on the camper was broken and water got in and kept shorting out the system.

Ok, its like electrons flowing through copper. Better? LOL

Trailer harness is usually the main cause of stuff. Not just the pig tail but the converter box as well. Disconnect or replace all of it to start. If that doesnt work then start disconnecting things one at a time till the problem goes away.

Do you have an aftermarket stereo? The factory one uses wires from the lighting circuits. If the aftermarket one doesnt (mine doesnt) those wires might be loose and shorting on something.
