Thanks for the tips. I figured there had to be a vent somewhere. I was hoping the leak was a one time occurence. I cleaned off the lube around the fill hole and around the front/top of the transfer case. Drove around town for a few days and didn't seem to leak anymore. However, after some highway driving the leak is back. Could the vent be partially clogged and the additional heat from highway driving is forcing it to leak? Don't understand how it is leaking from the fill plug. The highway driving is probably "slinging" the lube around a lot more but I don't see where the leak is coming from any gaskets. Any more thoughts? Thanks for your help. Jim Tulsa '89 two door v6 auto
