i am upgrading to a tc style power steering pump for hydro assist and i was going to use a tranny cooler to cool the system but after looking at my old , no longer used a/c condensor i got to thinking,<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" /> its already there and its a hell of alot bigger than a tranny cooler so it should cool better and also hold more fluid. my question is, would the ps fluid eat up the metal or cause any problems? i planned on fluhing it out to get rid of any r-12 residue. im pretty sure it wouldnt restrict flow any more than a tranny cooler. its just a thought and i searched all over and didnt see anything about it which is why i questioned the idea i have a tranny cooler already but i was just thinking.... my first problem!
