To get those big tires spinning and keep them that way through the goo is still gonna need some torque.

Since you don't have the HP to keep those big tires going once you hit a deep hole you have to makeup with torque to get them rolling again.

The bogs around here run a 4 and 6 cylinder class and it seems the high HP motors do worse than the stockers because they come off the line with some torque and then bog the tires when they get to the deep nasty part because they don't have any low down omph to get it going again.

I would sacrifice some topend HP and get some more torque with the heavier flywheel unless you are running a bracket racing track.

If you are trying to run 44s in a V8 class and win you are doomed and disregard everything I've said.
