You can put one of those aluminum wheel spacers with the studs and everything from Marlincrawler.com. Not sure if you can buy just 1. About 1/4 the way down you will see the Toyota wheel spacers. http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/axles.htmOr, cut out the stock lugs from the tire holder and put longer bolts and stack washers or spacers.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Thanks Sparky! I was thinking about getting 3. 2 for the front and one for the spare. Just called MarlinCrawler. For 3 of them, they said $145 shipped Dayum, 6061 billet is pricey. I remember when you could buy a set of four for around $100. May have to drop back and punt on this. May take the longer bolt route you suggest, Sparky. And skip the front ones altogether.

Can't you just remove the spare tire carrier and remount it using washers to space it out from the body a little ways? I've not tried it, so I don't know if the mounting bolts are long enough to do that. (Is that what was being suggested above?) Or put three longer studs in the carrier itself. Lots cheaper than wheel spacers!

Don't think I want to space it out from the body. Got a way bigger tire, so I think it may stress those mounts out more than I want. That's why I was thinking I'd need to do it at the wheel mounting studs. So far, Sparky's idea sounds the most feasible. I'll have to grind off the welds holding the studs in on the backside and put new longer bolts in with a spacer on the bolt of some sort. Dunno, I'll take the bracket off and tinker with these ideas.

Thanks Frank! That second one could be the deal. I had searched on fleabay, but didn't see those.

Still working on the pics, got some on my phone. My camera shat on me and my router is trashed at home. So, I'm experiencing technical difficulties Think I'm going to get these adapters on fleabay for the cheap and just use one for the spare. Thanks for the help with this

Won the adapters on fleabay. $44 shipped for the pair(Thank you Frank ) That's one problem solved. Next problem. Got the axle in yesterday afternoon. Complete apparently doesn't mean it includes brakes, these days. It came relatively complete. Axle with driveshaft, trailing arms, and pump. But, it didn't have the rotors, calipers, pad saddles, bolts for the saddles, or driveshaft bolts. Got a call in to the JY that sold it to me. Maybe he'll credit me some back, dunno. I was going to replace the brakes anyway, just didn't want to do it right away. Reckon I'll do it right away if I want the axle in this weekend. Got reman calipers with saddles, rotors and pads in this morning. Just need to source the saddle bolts and driveshaft bolts. Anybody got measurements on those? Saddle bolts look like 12 x 1.75 x 26ish??? Anybody confirm these specs? The driveshaft bolts look to be 12mm and about 24-25mm long. Again, can anybody confirm these specs? I'm assuming that these will need to be 10.9 hardened. Btw, the axle is from a 96 SR. So far, it looks like it's going to work with no snags. The u-joint for my 91 looks, by dimensions, like it'll go directly into the yoke on the donor shaft. Keeping my fingers crossed on that one.
Got pics available, if I can email them to somebody to be uploaded, that'd be cool. PM me an addy if you can help me on that.
I'll say it again. All of you guys that post up on here on the regular are a veritable wealth of information on the many and diverse topics that come up on these trucks. Everybody on here has been very helpful and tolerant of me. I appreciate it
