Just looking at the tire in relation to the body, it appears he has about 4.5" of backspace. The outside of his tire sits just about where my 32x10.50s sit with (I think 4" B/S), so the extra inch +/- is to the inside compared to mine. My spare fits the carrier just fine, but just barely.
