My wheels are 16x8 with 5" BS and 12mm offset. The spare WILL NOT fit on the carrier. No way, no how. DavidG even saw for himself the other nite. Knowing what Eddy said, I'll remove the bracket and space it out on the body side. I'll have the spacers I got on fleabay for use on the front if the width is an issue to me(I'm anal retentive, so I'll probably use them)
The next thing I kind of need an answer on is the strength of the bolts required for attaching the brake pad saddles and the driveshaft. As stated in a previous post, the brakes weren't included with the axle.
Talked to the JY, guy said he'd credit me $75 and send me the old brakes. Pretty happy about that. So, just in the mean time, do y'all think I'll have any problems using 8.8 bolts for attaching the pad saddle to the axle, as well as using them for the driveshaft attachment? Just until the used brakes come in next week? I plan on getting started this afternoon after work. Wish me luck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
