Good Job man! Your going to love the disk brakes in the rear. This improvement alone is worth the trouble. But once you get a taste of wheeling with the locker.....fuhgetahbowtit If you have any questions I'll be around. This swap is the Shiznit!

Got the axle in, hooked up, drove around the block. Don't have rear brakes, yet. One of the calipers I got didn't have the saddle in the box. So I put the caliper, pads and hose on the left rear. Was able to stop with the E brake, since I had the center rear hose pinched off still from the swap. I left the sway bar off and installed the Bilsteins in the rear. Still need to do the Pitman and Idler arms, front Bilsteins, Alignment, GenII front brakes, Superwinch hubs, electric fans with dual controls, front crank seal, Mitsu mini locker pump, and the compressor for OBA. Not necessarily in that order I have all the parts, just need the time. Anywho, here's the pics of today's goings on.

Wife was sitting behind me while I was working and said "Butterflies! How cute!"
I said, WTH are you talking about?
She said on your tires.
I'm looking around to see the butterflies, to my dismay, I see none. Then she says, in the tread of your tires.
GREAT! Now I hafta find some manlier tires

Got another caliper in. This time it does have the pad saddle included. The rear center brake hose I got was the OE replacement, but it looked a tad short. So I got one coming tomorrow that'll be about an inchish longer. I'll probably finish the rear brakes and do the front brakes and manual hubs tomorrow night, provided the hose is a suitable length.
Then, I believe I'm going to let my front end guy do the pitman, idler, t-bar crank and alignment. Then, I'll move on to the OBA and plumbing the air lines for the rear locker. Over the next week or so, I'll get the stereo in, little by little.
After all that, I just have to find time to wheel it

Hate to be the one to say it, but the way you've spaced the spare carrier out looks pretty worthless--it's lost all of it's support. Try getting a donor carrier and weld both of them together.
Your truck looks awesome!

Thanks for the kind words, Mitch.
If Eddy says it'll work, it'll work. And, work it does. Looks good doing it, too. Again, THANKS Eddy!

Anywho, didn't get to the brakes the other night. Been busy, lot's on my mind. My dad's been real sick with cancer, passed away last nite. Real peaceful, my mom said. Back on topic, going to finish the rears and do the GenII front brake swap this afternoon. While I'm there, I'll put the Bilstein's on the front and swap to the Superwinch hub's. Haven't done an Auto to Manual hub swap before. Any helpful tidbits, besides what's in the destructions? Pics will follow after I'm done.

Hazy, I'm really sorry to hear that news man . My best wishes to you and your family. Same thing for my Dad years ago so I know where your at.

Get wrenching on that truck. Nothing like a bit of wrenching to take your mind off things. All the best to you.

My thoughts, too. It'll be a late night, and probably all day tomorrow. Got to get this done. This truck belonged to my dad, so, everything I'm doing on it is in honor of him. Wanted to have it done so he could see it, but that didn't happen.
