my driver side door is locked and i cant pull the lock inside the truck or unlock it with the key outside

Model, Year, power or manual locks?
Open up the inside cover of the door, move the mechanism around and hit it with some lube.

i fixed it. my 94 rodeo driver door was locked shut. i pulled the driver seat out. then got the door panel off then was able to see a broken spring on the lock mechanism. i was not able to find a spring that fit at my local hardware store so i got the closest one and cut it and bent it to fit. my new spring is stronger than the one that broke

the door was locked shut and there are screws along the bottom of the panel that u cant get at when the door is closed
