Getting the Wheeling Fever
Got the tranny out and found out the one of the bearings is bad my dads friend is going to pull it and put a new one in for me this week. I need to replace the little boots on the gear shift. it's pretty wore out, any idea were i could order them besides going to the dealership because there are none on my side of town. I haven't been able to find a shift boot either. Dealer wants $54. I have looked all over the net. No luck. Guess I will look in a wreaking yard. Maybe try a tire patch on the inside if the tear isn't to big. This sounds so deparate. But $54 come-mon.

Man, if someone does find a shifter boot, let me know. I've been keeping an eye out for one for years. Mine is completly torn into two pieces.

I did find a shift boot 3 days ago in a junkyard in prefect condition. I found another one I am sure I can patch from the inside don't give up they are out there.
