ok thanks it will be and after school project, along with c v boots abd brakes

After school for five days at least, right?
Be ready for setbacks and long hours, especially if you had to ask if you could do this yourself. A lot of the times, no matter how small the task, there will be complications. Pulling the tranny is both easy and simple at the same time. The concept is easy, unbolt some crossmembers, maybe a slave cylinder, starter, and the tranny istelf and lower it down. Sounds easy, but reality is usually more difficult than the description. Putting it in can be troublesome too, especially getting everything to line back up. Get some friends to help, make sure you pay attention to how you took things out, maybe even label the bolts or something if you are unsure, and be prepared to cuss and bleed a lot.
I've pulled my tranny before, swapped my 2.8 for a 3.4, lifted it, and done a few other things, and I know better than to think that any project will go off without a hitch.
I dont mean to rain on your parade. By all means, do yourself a favor and do this work yourself. You will learn so much, and after the sweating, bleeding and cussing is done, you will feel pretty good about your acomplishment.
Good luck, and ask questions here.
