What experience do you have?
What tools do you have?
Have you ever replaced a clutch?
Did you price a clutch kit?
Can you have your vehicle apart a few days to allow for the flywheel to be resurfaced?
Do you have a place that you can do this repair?
How much do you value your time?

Answer those questions and you will know if you can do this yourself. This is not an easy job, but it will require more than a socket set and an apartment parking lot (although, it could be done there).

Then go for it. It isn't a golf cart, but it is pretty much a pull it and replace it, kind of deal.

I suggest a good repair manual for reference and a bit of searching around here.

Body Damage is Cool
I say go for it. Ratchet straps and a good floor jack are your friends. Also remember that to get the upper bolts on the bell houseing, remove the shiftes/boot and put the ratched down through the hole in the cab. Use a bunch of extensions and you should be able to get the top bolts out.

After school for five days at least, right?
Be ready for setbacks and long hours, especially if you had to ask if you could do this yourself. A lot of the times, no matter how small the task, there will be complications. Pulling the tranny is both easy and simple at the same time. The concept is easy, unbolt some crossmembers, maybe a slave cylinder, starter, and the tranny istelf and lower it down. Sounds easy, but reality is usually more difficult than the description. Putting it in can be troublesome too, especially getting everything to line back up. Get some friends to help, make sure you pay attention to how you took things out, maybe even label the bolts or something if you are unsure, and be prepared to cuss and bleed a lot.
I've pulled my tranny before, swapped my 2.8 for a 3.4, lifted it, and done a few other things, and I know better than to think that any project will go off without a hitch.
I dont mean to rain on your parade. By all means, do yourself a favor and do this work yourself. You will learn so much, and after the sweating, bleeding and cussing is done, you will feel pretty good about your acomplishment.
Good luck, and ask questions here.

Sweet!
Perfect then.
I wasn't sure if you knew or not, so thought I'd try to warn you.
Good luck, I'm sure it will go fine. Remember, lots of extensions. They are your friend.
