Getting the Wheeling Fever

My o2 sensor light bulb was not there. When I replaced it the bulb is on. I guy I bought it from said he replaced the sensor and it looks new. Well just in case I went and bought one. I put it in and the light is still on. Is there something I have to do after putting it in? or is there something else I need to check?
